This gives your vehicle a unique, textured look. Cover up the plain trim. Just remove some of the existing trim to lay this on the shifter frame. Clip back in all the surrounding trim and you have yourself a new look!
NOTE: Please view the pictures. This only fits shifters that have leather shifter boots and have the chrome trim ring. Your existing trim should be black and not silver / tan.

When purchasing vinyl overlays, keep in mind that not all materials are created equally. We use premium vinyl which has high initial costs, but are the industry standards for high quality materials.
Also made in the USA. - Dragon Wrap™ Carbon Fiber Films (3D Carbon) is a 5.6 mil calendered vinyl film featuring a clear repositionable permanent acrylic adhesive on an air-egress liner. This film has excellent dimensional stability, outstanding durability and outdoor performance.
- This repositionable permanent adhesive offers minimal initial bond growing to permanent bonds that facilitates application of large graphics. The air egress liner also aids in large graphic application.
- Minimum application temperature is 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Up to 5 year durability outdoors.
Rated EXCELLENT for WATER RESISTANCE, HUMIDITY RESISTANCE, and SOLVENT RESISTANCE.
Do not wax as it can cause issues with the finish and texture.
Dragon Wrap carbon fiber wrap film should be maintained to preserve long term appearance using standard aftercare products designed for textured exterior vinyl surfaces. A commercially available protectant is recommended.
INSTALLATION
This install requires that you lift the trim surrounding the gloss black shifter frame. This is the only way to get 100 percent coverage. Gently lift up on the trim surrounding the shifter frame. Place the overlay on the shifter plate and replace the trim that was previously lifted up. On some vehicles you may have to take out or lift up on the surrounding trim (to include ebrake cover) to access it.
It is recommended that the surface of the trim be cleaned thoroughly. If you have a hard time getting the overlay into position, a little soapy water can break up the adhesive temporarily (until it dries again). This allows you to slide the piece into place. Heat from a hair dryer can aide in drying out the soapy water once you get it into place.
