Offset Racing Stripes V1

Let's go racing boys and girls!  This was a request of a customer that needed some Badlands Orange stripes.  After it was all said and done, we love the look on our own Bronco.

Please watch our video to walk you through this install.

NOTE:  2 sets are sold at a reduced price.  Keep it as a backup or in case your first install proves to be difficult.

Colors

Matte black is one of the easiest colors to install in general.  It stretches and responds to heat very well.

The gloss black we chose has air egress channels and that is why it is a little more expensive than standard colors.  Air egress channels assist in providing a path for air to escape during installation (less bubbles).  Some cost is also due to the fact that it is cast versus calendared.

All options have high outdoor durability ratings.

Installation

Clean the application area to prepare it for installation.  Just use a wax free detailing spray if your vehicle is not too dirty.

NOTES:  We recommend that the installation area be free of wax and not under direct sunlight.  

Recommended items:

  • Microfiber
  • Detailing Spray
  • StickerFab Installation Fluid (or Soapy Water)
  • Heat Gun or Hair Dryer (optional but recommended)
  • Measuring Calipers (or half inch painter's tape)
  • 1 1/2" Painter's Tape
  • Supplied Felt Tip Squeegee 

Wet installs require StickerFab Installation Fluid or one drop of dish or hand soap in a cup of water.  Apply to the vinyl so that the first attempt doesn't make the vinyl permanently stick to the surface.  Then you can slide it around and push out the extra water once it is in place with your squeegee.

Try doing the install in the shade so it doesn't heat up the vinyl rapidly.

Really great look!

Pretty easy install- best tip is measure form center of hood. Front camera and the ambient light sensor made it easy to locate center. Love the look.

Love StickerFab

My husband installed the Bronco offset racing stripe from StickerFab. The install went smoothly, he did use a laser to make sure the margins were correct! Love the look of my Bronco now!!

For first time - was challenging

Love StickerFab. Shipped quick and products good. We are totally new at installing vinyl so I blame myself but ... but our gloss black turned out with micro-scratches caused by the install process / wet felt squeegee - maybe we were overactive trying to get bubbles and water out. I guess the top protective and alignment layer on other cut vinyl kits helps keep those stripes land in perfect position and avoids the novice installer's line alignment and micro-scratching of the vinyl. It was a challenge to install and little blemishes remain. Thinking maybe matte would have hidden those better? Anyway from 4 feet back it looks perfect.

Also wish this kit had a small section for the 2" under the front grill. I also wrongly thought the mountain hood graphic was part of this stripe kit but it was not. My error ...but it is in all these pictures.

I did grab the Autostop Eliminator and its great!! Thanks guys - best of luck.

Easy to install

Everything came in and the YouTube for install made it easy. I ordered 2 sets so I could do the back door and the small amount under the front grill.
