Not All Materials are Created Equally
3D Carbon
When purchasing vinyl overlays, keep in mind that not all materials are created equally. I use premium vinyl which has high initial costs, but are the industry standards for high quality materials. Also made in the USA. Dragon Wrap™ Carbon Fiber Films (3D Carbon) is a 5.6 mil calendered vinyl film featuring a clear repositionable permanent acrylic adhesive on an air-egress liner. This film has excellent dimensional stability, outstanding durability and outdoor performance. This repositionable permanent adhesive offers minimal initial bond growing to permanent bonds that facilitates application of large graphics. The air egress liner also aids in large graphic application. Minimum application temperature is 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Up to 5 year durability outdoors. Rated EXCELLENT for WATER RESISTANCE, HUMIDITY RESISTANCE, and SOLVENT RESISTANCE.

Wash your hands and make a soapy water mixture (1 drop of dishwash soap + water). You want to clean the application area and up to around 6 inches past that.
Apply your soapy mixture to the back of the vinyl. This will prevent it from sticking to itself (especially if it is windy) and sticking immediately to the tail light. Start aligning the bottom and work your way around to the top potion.
The water allows you to lift up the vinyl and slide it around. When you are happy with the position, just use your fingers to squeegee out the water / air bubbles.
of the bunch of stickers i ordered wheel spoke stickers were the best of quality and ease of installation. tail light vinyl was hardest thus far, its very thin and hard to work with, cant really tell in pic but there are numerous air bubbles on the tail light . steering wheel emblem sticker was also easy to install sorry didn’t take a pic of that as of yet and have yet to apply the hood vent sticker.
I did mine in a windy do so that didn’t help. They were still super easy to install and make the tails look a lot better until I find some aftermarket tails.
I put them on and so far looks great. very easy to put on 5 minutes. Too bad I don't let anybody drive my car😃
Easy to apply if you follow the directions in the video. Looks great too. The black gloss looks like it came on the car from the factory.
