The lower portion of the mirrors on the 2015-2021 WRX / STI are a plain, black plastic. With these overlays you can add some texture and character. Sold as a pair. This is a vinyl product and has no actual carbon fiber content. This material is durable and will last for years.

When purchasing vinyl overlays, keep in mind that not all materials are created equally. I use premium vinyl which has high initial costs, but are the industry standards for high quality materials. Also made in the USA. - Dragon Wrap™ Carbon Fiber Films (3D Carbon) is a 5.6 mil calendered vinyl film featuring a clear repositionable permanent acrylic adhesive on an air-egress liner. This film has excellent dimensional stability, outstanding durability and outdoor performance. - This repositionable permanent adhesive offers minimal initial bond growing to permanent bonds that facilitates application of large graphics. The air egress liner also aids in large graphic application. - Minimum application temperature is 40 degrees Fahrenheit. - Up to 5 year durability outdoors. You will need to use a hair dryer or heat gun for installation. It requires just a little bit of heat. Start at the outer edge (fat side of the vinyl). Align it appropriately with the plastic trim. It is actually easier to pull these off and work with them off the vehicle. Make the vinyl contour the top edge of the trim. If you need to use heat go ahead and use a little. This material is pretty forgiving. Slowly work your way towards the inner part and you're done!
