When customers tag us for solutions, we try our best. Apparently it doesn't seem like you can knock out the little lights in the overhead console. There is a slider to dim them and turn off ambient lighting, but some have noted they don't really go out all the way.
This quick solution will let you cover them or open them up with ease. Dial in the amount of light you want by sliding the cover closed as much or as little as you want.
Comes with pre-installed double sided tape. Clean the area off and you will have knocked out another mini mod in seconds.

NOTES: We recommend that the installation area be free of Armor All or similar products and. Some will choose to clean the application area with rubbing alcohol which is okay.

Completely blacked out the lights without disabling them permanently which is what I was looking for. Easy to install and fit is perfect.
Cheap, effective solution.
I don't know what Ford's idea behind these two overhead lights was. The blue glow they gave the top of the dash was actually kind of annoying to me and these little covers worked perfectly to eliminate those lights. The covers blend in really well with the overhead console and look like they could have come from the factory!
