Soft plastics line the bottom of even the most expensive luxury vehicles. This makes them susceptible to scrapes. Whether your panels are brand new or scuffed up, this interior protection kit (4 pieces) can overlay those panels and give them a cool 3D carbon textured look.
Ultra dark and rich appearance.
CUSTOMER MESSAGE - "Got them just now, thanks for including a(n) extra set! I've had 2 sets of CF look ones from another seller and silver stars kept peeling and the carbon look faded really bad."
When purchasing vinyl overlays, keep in mind that not all materials are created equally. I use premium vinyl which has high initial costs, but are the industry standards for high quality materials. The air egress liner also aids in large graphic application. - Minimum application temperature is 40 degrees Fahrenheit. - Up to 5 year durability outdoors. Rated EXCELLENT for WATER RESISTANCE, HUMIDITY RESISTANCE, and SOLVENT RESISTANCE.
Install in 70-75 degree WEATHER out of direct sunlight. If it is ultra hot outside, cool you car down and install with the vehicle running. If it is cold, do the opposite. Turn your heat on. You may want to have a hair dryer or heat gun around to stretch the vinyl over curves.
Clean the panels and prepare them for install. Make sure they are clean and free of products like Armor All. Install the larger strip first. Please look at the photos closely to see how we aligned it. It may slightly overlap the door seal initially, but you can push it under it.
Please be careful when removing the vinyl from the backing paper. There are relief slits in the tight curved area so that it can lay flat easier and not crease.
Align the top and press down from top to bottom until you come to areas that appear to want to crease. Then apply a little heat until you can lay the rest down. There are also relief cuts in this area to prevent bunching and creasing. The small piece will fill in the uncovered area left by the large piece. We chose the two piece install for ease of installation. It will overlap the larger piece in some areas. Repeat for the other side.
