This overlay was originally designed in Japan and brought over to the US by us. If you already have some scuff marks on the lower part of your trim panels or want to prevent paint damage, this product is a great solution. Those soft plastics really can't take a beating without some scuffing occurring over time. The subtle 3D texture is nice modification but not an eyesore.
Sold as a set of 2 pieces. Enough to do one whole vehicle.
This material is durable and will last for years. I source the vinyl for these products from US suppliers. They are often made in the US or Europe. Material standards are high.
For the 3D Carbon material, do not apply wax. Just clean with normal soap and water. 303 Aerospacer cleaner / protector really makes it pop though!
NOT ALL MATERIALS ARE CREATED EQUALLY
CUSTOMER MESSAGE - "Got them just now, thanks for including a(n) extra set! I've had 2 sets of CF look ones from another seller and silver stars kept peeling and the carbon look faded really bad." When purchasing vinyl overlays, keep in mind that not all materials are created equally. I use premium vinyl which has high initial costs, but are the industry standards for high quality materials. Also made in the USA.

INSTALLATION
You will need a hair dryer or heat gun. Once you have found that, remove the panels by first taking the one fastener off in the back. Gently pull so that two additional clips release. Clean the panels and prepare them for install. Make sure they are clean and free of products like Armor All. The smaller strip will be installed first. It installs in the front of the panel. Align the top or bottom and then apply a little heat until you can lay the rest down. The larger piece is easier to install and will clean up the install of the first piece. You may not need to use heat to install it. Once you are done with both sides, reinstall the panels.
NOTE: The cutout is for the left panel. This is to make it compatible with vehicles from other countries. It sits high up on the panel and out of view.
