The plain plastics under the hood of the 2022+ WRX can use some subtle bling. The ultra dark, textured 3D carbon that we use is reminiscent of the material Subaru uses in some of their JDM parts.
This material is durable and will last for years. We source the vinyl for these products from US suppliers. They are often made in the US or Europe. Material standards are high.
For the 3D Carbon material, do not apply wax. Just clean with normal soap and water. The appearance can be further enhanced a lot by the use of 303 Aerospace Cleaner.
CUSTOMER MESSAGE - "Got them just now, thanks for including a(n) extra set! I've had 2 sets of CF look ones from another seller and silver stars kept peeling and the carbon look faded really bad."

HIGHLY Recommended Items:
Clean the surface of the alternator pully cover. Do not use a cleaner that contains wax. Install in 75-85 degree weather. If it is really warm, stay in the shade to control the stretching of the vinyl and drying of the fluid. You can also do this install inside. Removing the two plastic fasteners with a flat head screwdriver and pull the intake duct towards you.
A dry install works fine for this forgiving material. Apply and use heat AND pressure to increase adhesion. Layers can overlay and still remain unnoticeable.
The DIY install will leave you proud of the work you've done. A great conversation piece as others will probably want to know how you did it all.
